This tool smooths sharp, jagged edges on any hard material particularly glassware. Real diamond, the hardest material known, coats the it making it easy to handle and lightweight, the half round file portion itself is 3 7/8" long. To use: moisten the file, rub over the chipped area with the rounded side first, then turn over to the flat side to finish. Generally, only a few strokes are needed.
